BIKE & TREK
Time: 4 hours
This activity is divided into two parts, Cycling off road Trek. Each activity takes two hours and groups rotate to undergo both simultaneously. A briefing about cycling and safety measures is given to each participant. However, it is important that each participant is capable to ride a bicycle and confident to take part. The group will be visiting attractive nature sites and locations in Malta and Gozo.
Goals: Participants gain confidence, independence skills and resilience whilst spending quality time spent connected with nature.
EMERGENCY FIRE & RESCUE
Time: 3 hours
This is an entertaining and educational activity to do with a group of friends or work mates. Throughout this activity participants will learn:
- how to deal with fire and extinguish it using water house
- information about Fire Engines and safety measures during an emergency
- how to use a stretcher and save a causality
All these activities are carried out throughout innovative team building games.
Goals: Participants enhance collaborative skills, resilience, team work, responsibility, and physical endurance, whilst spending quality time with others in a safe environment.
KAYAKING
Time: 3 hours
The group is given a briefing at start about Kayaks; canoeing technique; use of equipment and safety procedures. Then the group is divided into two subdivided teams. Team one starts Kayaking and team two stays swimming at the Beach / short Trek, then they rotate.
Another option for the Kayak session would be to create a variety of team building games with Kayaks such as the blindfolded trust game or a coastal treasure hunt.
Goals: Students engaged themselves with beautiful natural sea sites in Malta. They also learn Kayak technique, enhance independence skills and fitness (Kayaking can be tough).
ROCK CLIMBING
Time: 3 hours
The group is given a detailed briefing at start about Rock Climbing; technique, use of equipment and safety procedures. Then the group is divided into two teams. Team one starts the Climbing session whilst we organize a good trek in beautiful natural sites for team two. Then they rotate.
In Summer this event is organized within an Indoor Gym.
Goals: Students engaged themselves with beautiful natural climbing sites in Malta. Throughout Climbing participants gain confidence and enhance their independence and resilience skills.
SAILING
Time: 3 – 4 hours
This Sports entitles a lot of dedication and commitment. Throughout this activity participants will engage with attractive nature and environments on Malta’s coasts. The group is given an introductory briefing before the start about Sailing, the use of equipment, maneuvers and health & safety measures.
Goals: Participants enhance resilience, responsibility, physical endurance and self-confidence, whilst spending quality time with others in a safe and beautiful environment
ZIP LINE
Time: 3 hours
The group is given a detailed briefing at start about Ziplining; technique, use of equipment and safety procedures. Then the group is divided into two teams. Team one starts the Zipline session and team two goes for a trek in beautiful natural sites. Then they rotate.
Goals: Students engaged themselves with nature. Throughout Zip Line participants gain confidence and enhance their independence and resilience skills.
