Whiz Gozo - Whiz Team Adventure

Whiz Gozo

These events promote the Gozitan culture & heritage, agriculture and connection with nature. They also enhance creativity, problem solving and physical wellbeing.

CITADEL TREASURE

Time: Half / Full Day (including Gozo Ferry and transport in both Malta & Gozo)

The Group is divided into teams and given three tasks. The first task consists of a series of Q&A, both Cultural and Environmental, that each team must answer in a few minutes.

The second task consists of a series of Q&A both Gozo Heritage & Culture, and other attractions. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

In the final task the teams have to perform optional fitness exercises and routines.

 

At the end of these activities the winner will be announced!

This event can be organized as a Corporate Team Building Event, Christmas / Birthday Party

Goals: This event promotes Gozo Heritage and Culture. Participants enhance communication skills, cooperation, leadership and have a lot of fun!

GOZO EXPEDITION

Time: Half day / full day (including Gozo Ferry and transport in both Malta & Gozo)

This event is a long trek in Gozo starting and finishing on the beautiful coasts of the Island. During the Trek participants are given a Scavenger Hunt, and will be asked to perform a series of fun and creative tasks.

There will be frequent breaks for refreshments and rests. The Expedition includes visiting attractive locations in Gozo such as places of Heritage, nature sites and other places of interest.

Goal: This activity promotes physical activity, social wellbeing and team work. Besides learning new skills mentioned above, participants enhance their leadership and ccollaborative skills.

GOZO HORSEBACK RIDING, MILKING

Time: Full day in Gozo (including Gozo Ferry and transport in both Malta & Gozo)

This activity is divided into three parts. During the first session the group will be given a hands-on session about milking and the process of producing Gozitan cheese lets, thanks to a local Gozitan Agriculture citizen.

In the second part the group will be start horse riding all together in beautiful natural areas. Throughout this walk each participant will have the opportunity to ride a horse and guide one with friends.

In the third and final part we will visit a beach or other attractive location in Gozo, have lunch together. A time to get off the mobile, having fun and continue bonding together.

Goal: Educational event that gives participants a hands-on learning experience in Gozo and learn about its rich Environmental resources. Besides during Horseback riding will promote independence, confidence and leadership skills.

GOZO WATERSPORTS

Time: Half / full day in Gozo (including Gozo Ferry and transport in both Malta & Gozo)

We choose to organize Stand up Paddle session depending on weather conditions (mainly wind) on the day after consulting relevant instructor.

The group is given a briefing at start about SUP; technique, use of equipment and safety procedures. Then the group is divided into two teams. Team one starts SUP whilst team two stays swimming at the beach. Then they rotate.

Goals: Students engage themselves with beautiful natural sea sites in Gozo. They undergo a learning experience of either SUP technique. All participants enrich their independence and confidence skills and fitness.

KAYAK & TREK

Time: 3Half / full day in Gozo (including Gozo Ferry and transport in both Malta & Gozo)

The main group is given a briefing at start about Kayaks; canoeing technique; use of equipment and safety procedures. Participants are organized in two groups. Group one starts Kayaking along the Gozitan coast and caves, whilst group two goes for a Trek, then they rotate.

Another option for the Kayak session would be to create a variety of team building games with Kayaks such as the blindfolded trust game or a coastal treasure hunt.

Goals: Participants engage themselves with beautiful natural sea sites in Gozo. They also learn Kayak technique and enhance independence skills. Kayaking can be tough, so it promotes physical endurance and wellbeing.
