BUSKETT ADVENTURE
Time: 3 – 4 hours
This activity is divided into three parts. During the first session the group will hike within Buskett, meet a local Environmental Officer who will teach them about various trees in Malta. At the end of the trek each participant will be given hands-on guidance on how to plant a new tree and also soil and pot to take at home.
In the second part the group continue to hike within the woodlands and will be given a session of Nature Photography, learning how to observe and capture the moment in nature. A scavenger hunt will also be organized. At the end of this session each participant will learn about new natural plants and their names both in Maltese and English.
In the third and final part the group will trek all together to the caves. This place is marvellous and the students enjoy it a lot! Once arrived at the cave there will be time to bond together and take a snack. We also promote pot holing and climbing within these caves.
This activity can also be organized for a Team Building or Birthday Event!
Goal: Educational event that gives students a hands-on learning experience of our natural resources and trees. Besides during trekking we promote leadership as various students are appointed to lead the group. Pot holing and scavenger hunt promote independence, resilience and confidence.
DISCOVER COMINO
Time: half / full day
This event is divided in various activities:
- A boat trip
- Visit attractions such as St Mary’s Tower
- Hike to Comino caves
- Swim at blue lagoon
Goals: Besides promoting Maltese Heritage and Culture, participants enhance communication skills, cooperation, connection with nature and have a lot of fun!
DISCOVER MDINA/COTTONERA
Time: 3 – 4 hours
The Group is divided into teams and given two main tasks. The first task consists of a series of Q&A, Maltese Heritage and Culture, Tourist attractions and Movie sites in Mdina/Cottonera.
During the foot rally, each team will be asked to perform a series of fun and creative tasks. Refreshments are provided.
In the final task, the teams have to perform optional fitness exercises and routines.
At the end of these activities, the winner will be announced!
Goals: Besides promoting Maltese Heritage and Culture, participants enhance communication skills, cooperation, leadership and have a lot of fun!
OFFSHORE SNORKELING
Time: 3 – 4 hours
This activity is divided into two main parts. During the first part, the group will be given a detailed briefing about Snorkeling; the underwater, use of equipment and safety procedures.
In the second part, the group will set sail offshore from the beach and experience a hands-on Snorkeling. The group will be accompanied into the sea with individual tuition of a qualified Diving Instructor. This is a great opportunity to learn about underwater environment, how to keep it safe and clean.
Goal: All participants engage in a learning experience of Snorkeling in the sea within a safe and professional environment. Participants enhance their independence and confidence whilst connecting with nature.
SCUBA DIVING
Time: 4 hours
This activity is divided into two main parts. During the first part the group will be given a detailed briefing (including a video) about Scuba Diving; diving technique, use of equipment and safety procedures.
In the second part the group will experience a hands-on Scuba Diving session. The group will be accompanied into the sea with individual tuition of a qualified Diving Instructor.
Participants who are waiting for their turn for the Scuba session can stay at the beach during waiting time, we also organize beach activities for them.
Goal: All participants engage in a learning experience of Scuba Diving in the sea within a safe and professional environment. Participants enhance their independence and confidence whilst connecting with nature.
ZURRIEQ ADVENTURE
Time: 3 hours
The Group is divided into teams who have to race against time and each other from Zurrieq to a secret location. Each team start from the same point and has to find the final destination using compasses and map. During the race each team will be asked to perform a series of fun and creative tasks.
On their path all teams will discover cultural and historical locations, nature site and other attractions. The team to finish the trek in shortest time wins the event. At the end of each session we serve everyone refreshments and nibbles.
